ABOUT Andean Braid アンデスの組紐文化

The Andes region once developed a sophisticated braiding culture that continues to this day.
These braids were made by hand without the use of tools, and many complex and characteristic designs such as mountains and spirals can be seen. Originally, slings for hunting and weapons were made using a technique called warping, and decorations were also made in addition to slings.
Unique materials such as alpaca were used for the materials.
